"Anth is an emo love song. In fact, he's so emo he's not merely a one-hit-wonder single: he's an entire discography of songs. In one track he's depressed, lamenting over some cute girl who broke his heart. Go to the next track and you'll find him giddy and bouncy, probably attributable to reciprocity, or at the very least, some form of validation. Listen some more and you'll hear him whining and screaming out of desperation. Or anger. Or just pure recompense. Nobody really knows, nobody can really tell.

Anth is an emo love song. It's rather hard to decipher if he's saying what he means, or if he means what he says (Yes, he's also one confused Alice in Wonderland). He's somewhere between happy and sad, right in the middle of vengeance and surrender. He's a heartless criminal and a bleeding victim, he's your lucky bastard and poor underdog all at the same time. He's a floater, an in-betweener, clearly not one or the other.

Anth is an emo love song. He's the type of tune you'd want to indulge in during times of abandon or moments of recklessness. He's your badly-written prose turned into the right kind of music. He's that lyric that goes on and on, that one sentence containing too many words, chasing so little time. And when every imaginable emotion has been exhausted, he's still there, breathing: he's that last scream, that belting of voice, that sigh of release.

There is no scratching of CDs, or running out of batteries. Anth is to be listened to over and over again."
